Toronto
The drive to Etobicoke was very pleasant, took me about 8 hrs. or so, I arrived at my sister Marie’s, it was a very special moment,(one of many) to meet oldest sis. I grabbed her hand, and did not want let go!
I met her husband Jim,
we talked and went to dinner at the Swiss Chalet. I also learned of a chain called Tim Horton’s, very popular and very good!
I received many gifts, and after a good rest, looked around Toronto.
Jim worked in public transportation for many years, and knew the downtown area well. I was very fortunate to have a guide like Jim to show me all the places and explain how Toronto used to be, and how a lot of things are the same.
I was amazed at the public transportation systems, the huge electric cars that run through the streets, along with the bus and taxi traffic. Policecars were few and far between, everywhere I went, I noticed very little police presence.

The BBQ at Marie’s was a great day in my life. My brother Sven, came over, and I was able to look into my brother’s eye’s for the very first time.
EACH SMALL CANDLE LIGHT’S A CORNER OF THE DARK
My next oldest sister Betty and her daughter and children came next,(It has been a while, so please forgive your brother for his forgetfulness, we can edit!lol).
My younger sis Collette and her children came also.
Now here I am with 3 sisters and a brother, that I never knew I had. Well the incompleteness I had buried, is now resurrected. The healing is starting to begin, I feel it very strong, but at this point I had no idea that this was only the beginning!
We had another party at my niece’s house Janet. it was there I met more of my niece’s and nephew’s
Again, the food was just fantastic, the family shared Leo’s story. We laughed and laughed and shared some wine, and m….more wine.
The next day I traveled to Burlington to meet my younger brother. Michael.
When I arrived I seen Michael out in front of his house, when he got close enough I grabbed him and hugged him! Another little brother!
Pictured here with Michael and I is his wife Kim. It was Kim and my cousin Sue that connected on Ancestory.com to begin this journey.
My other little Brother Sven arrived at Michael’s that evening. Being together with my two little brother’s was most amazing, we had pizza, watched the hockey game, and were together as it were intended to be!
As we talked through the night, the world’s problem’s got solved!
Sven left for his home in Vancouver, and I was overjoyed to meet him!
Kim and Michael took me to Niagara Falls the next day, we had a Blast!
We met their daughter’s and friend’s and walked around and played game’s until the early hours of the next morning.
The next day Michael took me to see Leo’s old neighborhood and some of the place’s he made joke’s about.
On the way we went to Pickering to meet with my nephew Jordan, and with him were my youngest sister Suzanne’s boy’s. The meeting went well, and now i have met 3 more member’s of my family.

The reunion
Well I’ve had a while to think about my reunion, and have got to the point that I can now write about my journey.

Who the heck am I?
Born Nov.1 1951 at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, In. Mom and Pop Dailey adopted a son who had been named Baby Lee.
Feb.2011 Sue, my cousin by my mom, is putting together the Shelley Family Tree, she asked if I knew who were my birthparents were.
I told her no, I once attempted to get info, but in Indiana , was told that I would have to have acourt order to open the records.
She requested that I give her the info I had and she would see what she could find out. The only info I had was that my birthpartents were entertainers, father was artist, Name was Bishell, couldn’t take care of a baby because of so much travel involved with their work.
The name bischell led no where, and I gave up the search, after all Frank and Elizabeth Dailey gave me a very decent life, and I ad no reason to search. Frank died in 1976, Elizabeth in 1995.
Sue found out the name was Bachle, using soundex, Bach Le pronounced ,she notified me that she had found this website. kidsofjohnnycanuck.com
After looking at website, the pieces started filling in…
LEO BACHLE, it seems is my birthfather, and the childen he had left at so many places were reuniting and finding each other!
